In the cabin, your daughter-in-law is serving as a member of the crew. And just a few hours later, at your retirement ceremony at SunExpress Plaza in Antalya, you place pilot wings on your other son, who dreams of following the same path.

That was the final chapter of Captain Osman Ciğerim's flying career.

In İzmir, we also celebrated the retirement of Captain Mustafa Kılınç, whose distinguished military and civil aviation career has spanned decades. During his 9 years at SunExpress, he shared not only his experience and professionalism, but also the passion for aviation that earned him the respect of colleagues across generations. With his family by his side, the occasion was a meaningful reminder that behind every remarkable career is a journey shared with loved ones.
